About the Model
Designed as an exercise for learning intermediate digital tools in Bricklink Studio, this catapult is a fun exploration of castle-adjacent building and practical learning.
About the Build
The core functionality had to serve a few purposes: use the move/transform tool, use the rotate/hinge tool, and use submodels. The rotating motion and flying debris of a catapult seemed a natural fit for these needs. The construction of the catapult arm with bars and round plates seems sturdy in digital form, but I haven’t had a chance to test it with physical bricks.
