Dumpster Fire

About the Model

The term “dumpster fire” is used to denote situations where everything has gone wrong, and there’s nothing that can be done about it. This model was a quasi-commissioned piece by a coworker, who uses the expression when things go wrong and suggested that a LEGO model could be fun.

About the Build

The main goal was to make a desktop model that was interactive as a way to relieve stress. Having the flames dance seemed to be the natural fit. Red was chosen for the color of the dumpster due to the availability of the large panel parts to give the dumpster some simple texture.

Spinning the crank is satisfying and fun!
